‘Elkhart Lake’ village in Sheboygan County of Wisconsin in the USA is included in the Sheboygan, Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area. This village was in the limelight for being the host of the road races on the public county roads in the 1950s.

This village is situated at approximately one mile southeast of the northern terminus of the Kettle Moraine Scenic Drive. The famous Wisconsin Highway 67 runs through its northern and southern portion. Another famous route is County Highway A that comes from the northeast, whereas County Highway J runs in concurrent with the Kettle Moraine Scenic Drive in the village. The entire region is equipped with best of the infrastructure from northwest to northern and southern areas to the central portion of the village up to its exit in the southwest.

According to 2000 census, this village has the population of 1,021. It has 436 households, and 292 families. The village has the population density of 790.5 people per square mile. It has 599 housing units at an average density of 463.8/sq mi. Its racial makeup is 98.73% Whites, 0.10% Asians, 0.39% from other races and 0.78% from two or more races. Its Hispanic or Latino race consists of 1.08% of the total population.

23.6% of 436 households are children under the age of 18, who reside in a family setup, 59.6% are married couples living together, 5.0% are female householders without husbands and 33.0% are non-families. 26.4% of all the households are individuals and 8.3% has someone living alone, and of 65 years of age or above. Its average household size is 2.28 and the average family size is 2.75.
